Please note:

  • Individuals canceling a course must give Select First Aid a minimum of five business days notice prior to the class. “No Shows” will result in full liability for entire course cost.
  • Please make sure to give us at least three business days notice for rescheduling, otherwise a $10.00 administration fee will be charged.
  • Registration policy:

  • If you decide to register over the phone - 604-596-5666, or by email info@bcfirstaidcourses.com please be aware that we will need a Visa or a Mastercard number to get you registered. Do NOT email any credit card information, it is highly recommended to call afterwards. You are NOT considered registered until we receive payment or financial commitment.
  • If you plan to pay cash or debit, please be aware of our office hours:

    8:00 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Any off-line payment is accepted only during our office hours.

    Transportation Endorsement (TE)

    The Transportation Endorsement course is focused to develop practical skills in patient handling techniques and patient securing procedures.

    Prerequisites
  • Candidates must hold a valid W.C.B. Occupational First Aid certificate. It is important to note The Transportation Endorsement is valid only for the duration of the W.C.B. Level I certificate. Hence both courses should be taken as close to the same time as possible.
  • Course Outline
  • Module I: The participant will be able to demonstrate patient handling with C-Spine control.
  • Module II: The participant will be able to prepare patients for transport in the supine and lateral positions.
  • Module III: Review the concepts from Modules I & II.
